Lot Description

A continental slice in Indian style with decorated handle and a plain oval and flat bowl marked 'sterling silver' to the reverse, length measuring 8 7/8 inches (22.5 cm). Together with a pair of American teaspoons by Towle Silversmiths marked 'sterling' and a set of four small circular dishes, each inset with a Hong Kong One Dollar coin to the centre and marked 'sterling silver' to the reverse. Gross combined weight 9.76 ozt (303.7 grams).

In varied condition, all items displaying general wear including surface scratches, marks and tarnishing. Heavier tarnishing to the oval slice and numerous deeper scratches and heavier marks. Also some dints and bumps to the spoon bowls and heavier wear around the tips. The coin set dishes are also marked 'Made in Hong Kong'.
