A George III silver pair of sugar nips, monogrammed and with bright cut engraved decoration, hallmarked Peter & Ann Bateman, London 1797. Together with a George IV pair of sugar nips, also monogrammed and with King's pattern to the stems, hallmarked William Bateman I, London 1825, and three early twentieth century examples. Weight 5.29 ozt (164.4 grams). (5).
