A cased Victorian silver cake knife with mother of pearl handle, the blade with floral and foliate engraving and hallmarked Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1889, length measuring 10 3/8 inches (26.5 cm). Together with a set of six Edwardian silver coffee spoons with scroll pierced terminals, hallmarked Birmingham 1903. Weight of spoons 1.61 ozt (50.2 grams).
