Condition Report
Overall the spoon appears in pleasing condition. Some expected rubbing with loss of definition to the Apostle, bowl and details of the spoon. Traces of gilding to the terminal. A little dimpling to the bowl and Apostle. Approximately 2 cm below the Apostle join on the reverse there is a dent or compression of the silver. There is some wear to the bowl edges, now a little asymmetrical in appearance. Lap joint visible to the top of the stem/base of the terminal plinth with slight dimpling to the solder. Considering age, the hallmarks appear clear and legible. The condition stated above is also demonstrated in the 10 additional images available to view online, if you would like any of the images in higher resolution or have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact the department.
