Lot Description

A Victorian silver hip flask, of rounded oblong form and decorated throughout with repeated foliate patterns and with a monogrammed and dated cartouche to the front, the screw cap lid with conforming decoration, hallmarked George Unite & Sons, Birmingham 1877. Together with a George III silver sauce ladle with initialled terminal, hallmarked London 1789 or 1809. Height of hip flask measures 4 7/8 inches (12.5 cm), length of ladle measures 6 5/8 inches (17 cm), combined gross weight 5.82 ozt (181 grams).
