Condition Report
All the pieces display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use. Some dints and bumps. Knocks to some of the feet so that some are a little squashed or have little holes in the metal. There is considerable loss of detail or definition to the engraved decoration on all the pieces and in some areas the decoration has almost completely rubbed or worn away. The teapot and hot water pot handles have insulators, these are a little loose and the pin fixings would require some attention, especially on the hot water pot. Many of the hallmarks and maker's marks appear quite rubbed and partly distorted. Three of the pieces appear to bear the maker's mark 'FE' for Frederick Elkington. All have the impressed maker's name to the underside.
