Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver & enamel ink well, of circular outline leading to a spreading and weighted base with pen recess, the hinged lid decorated with pale blue guilloché enamel within a ribbon tied rope border and opening to a removable glass reservoir. Hallmarked Herbert Bushell & Co Ltd., Chester 1912. Diameter of base measures 3 1/2 inches (9 cm).
