Lot Description

A late Victorian silver perfume bottle mount, the circular hinged body embossed with figural scenes and opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior with glass bottle and stopper. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co (William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman), London 1896. Height measuring 2 3/4 inches (7 cm).

Rubbing with some loss of definition to the embossing. Possible repairs to the silver neck/collar. Unable to confirm if the glass is original to the piece. Clear glass stopper present. Chips to the opening of the bottle. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
