In fair overall condition, both casters displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The George II caster has some heavier patches of tarnishing to some areas and also displays some small dints and bumps. Likely repairs to some parts, including an area on the pierced lid and also to the underside as the hallmarks appear very squashed together. Date letter is illegible. Several knocks around the foot rim. The cover is struck with lion passant and maker's mark. On the Edwardian example, the bayonet fitting appears in working order. The hallmarks are a little distorted but still legible, maker's marks are partly illegible.  Cover has corresponding hallmarks.
