Both items display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Heavier scratches and marks are visible to both, also some surface dints and bumps.  The card case displays heavier wear around the edges and larger dints to the corners. Also a little compressed to the centre.  The central panel reads 'Fort Singleton 6th April 1915'. Hinges to both appear in working order. The hallmarks to both are clear and legible.
