A George IV silver snuff box of oblong form with raised borders enclosing engine turned decoration, the lid with monogrammed central panel, foliate thumb piece and opening to reveal a gilded interior with later dedication engraving. Hallmarked Ledsam & Vale, Birmingham 1827. Length measuring 8 cm, weight 93.3 grams.
