A George III silver vinaigrette, the oblong form with canted corners, vermicular engraving surrounding the oval cartouche and further punch-work borders, opening to a silver-gilt interior with pierced hinged grille, hallmarked Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1810, length measuring 3 cm. Together with a George III silver circular patch box, hallmarked Cocks & Bettridge, Birmingham 1813, diameter measuring 2 cm. Gross weight 15.8 grams. (2).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous dints bumps and creases to both. Lid rises very slightly to the vinaigrette when closed. Hallmarks a little distorted in keeping with age but clear and legible.
