Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver vesta case, of lobed and foliate engraved design, together with a silver powder compact with enamel pennant, an engraved silver cigarette case, a silver match case, three pencils, a pair of silver napkin clips, a silver cheroot holder, three thimbles and an embossed lid. Vesta hallmarked John Rose, Birmingham 1912. Gross weight 9.44 ozt (293.7 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Enamel shows moderate abrasion. Cigar cheroot holder with noticeable small dents. Vesta has slight, shallow dents. One thimble with slight, noticeable dents. Cigarette case with slight, shallow dents, engraving 'AA from KM 1914'. Pencils with small dents.
