An early twentieth century 9ct gold vesta case, of curved rectangular outline, the engine turned body, with circular shaped vacant cartouche. Hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1914. Length 1 3/4 inches (4.5 cm), weight 22.1 grams.
