A Victorian silver brandy warmer, the classic form with crested bulbous body and turned ivory handle. Hallmarked Frederick Brasted, London 1879. Maximum length measuring 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), weight 1.7 ozt (53 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

Rubbing and some loss of definition to the rim, spout and handle mount. Probably small solder repair to to the rim. Minor dints and bumps. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
