Lot Description
ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual bracelet watch. Circa 1959. Reference 1003, serial 1214089. Signed automatic calibre 1560. Silvered dial with silvered baton hour markers, Arabic numeral three, six and nine. Engine turned bezel, stainless steel case fitted to an unsigned stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp. 33mm.

<li> Automatic movement is currently functioning.
<li> Movement seems to show small scratches and areas of light tarnishing, consistent with general usage.
<li> Dial seems to show light scratches and pitting, visible under a 10x loupe.
<li> Hands appear to be lightly scratched and tarnished.
<li> Glass appears to have been replaced with plastic which is heavily scratched.
<li> Bezel currently shows medium scratches with several small chips to the outer edge.
<li> Case appears to have medium scratches and pitting, the majority of which should polish out.
<li> Crown seems to bear heavy scratches and tarnishing.
<li> Case back currently bears medium scratches and scuffs.
<li> Bracelet appears to be heavily tarnished on many of the links, with medium scratches also present.
<li> Bracelet does not appear to be stretched.
<li> Clasp appears to be functioning and shows medium scratches, which should polish out and small areas of rusting around the hinges.
<li> Bracelet measures approximately 17cm including the case. <p>
This lot comes with an incomplete box but no papers. <p>
