A 19th century French gold, enamel and tortoiseshell circular box, the push on cover, base and sides all having alternate rose gold and yellow gold (unmarked) bands, all with engraved decoration alternating with rose pink and enamel stripes, the interior with tortoiseshell lining, 3" diameter x 1.25" high, (7.5cm x 3.5cm).
