A pair of Chinese carved ivory figures, modelled as an Emperor (probably Qianlong) and Empress, each seated on elaborate thrones; his carved with dragons, hers with pheonixes and flowers, similar decoration to robes of each respectively, each holding tributes, character marks beneath, she 5.75" (14.5cm), on hardwood bases.
