A late 19th/early 20th century Chinese hardwood and carved root wood figure group, with central figure depicting an aged sage, flanked to his left by smaller figure of a female, (the opposing figure to the right now missing), the whole upon a base composed of interwoven length of root wood, 41" (104cm) high.
