A 19th century Dutch brass log bin, of bulging oval form with rolled rim over repousse decoration of a galleon between substantial cast lion mask and ring handles, with copper studded rear seam on conforming flared foot with rolled base, rim diameter 17.5" x 15" x 10.5", (44.5cm x 38.5cm x 26.5cm).
