An unusual mid Victorian brass desk stand, modelled as a hinged spherical ink well surmounted by an amber-coloured bee, the dished circular tray with three amber and agate effect bees, 1876 dedication inscription, 6.5" (16.5cm) diameter, on ebonised wooden plinth.
