A mid 18th century single-hand wall clock dial with posted 30-hour movement
Henry Baker, Malling (Kent)
The 11-inch square brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring, engraved "Hen'y Baker Malling", with half hour divisions and inner quarter hour track framing a matted centre, within Baroque cherub and coronet spandrels, the countwheel-striking 30-hour movement within posted frame and brass box housing with bell surmount, sold with a pair of iron brackets, weight and pendulum.
