A mid 18th century oak cased 8-day brass dial longcase clock with later musical movement, the 11-inch square dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes, cruciform half hour divisions and inner quarter hour track, framing a matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring at 12 and calendar aperture with scroll surround within mask spandrels, the knopped and finned five-pillar movement, later mounted with a pin-barrel and four coiled gongs, striking on a fifth mounted to the backing planks, the case having a cavetto-moulded stepped hood over turned columns, yoke-topped long trunk door and truncated case, 75" (190.5cm) high.

One corner of backplate bent back where it meets chapter ring. Movement- musical part applied to one side of movement. Case- One pillar has old worm to capitals. Base shortened, later apron.
