A George III inlaid mahogany bureau with sloping fall enclosing a fitted interior with walnut frieze drawers, central cupboard inlaid with a harewood patera of Father Time, enclosing valance drawer and base drawer between book pilasters, flanked by draws and pigeonholes, the exterior with four graduated long cockbeaded drawers each with brass and oval backplate bale handles, boxwood stringing and crossbanding, on bracket feet, 44" x 21" x 44" high, (112cm x 53cm x 112cm).
