A 19th century mahogany bureau bookcase of narrow proportions, the cavetto-moulded cornice over thirteen-pane astragal glazed door enclosing three adjustable shelves, the lower section with full front enclosing a central cupboard, drawers and pigeonholes, over four graduated cockbeaded long drawers with brass swan neck bale handles on bracket feet, 29.5" x 24" x 84" high, (75cm x 61cm x 213cm), (alterations), plus a pair of 19th century mahogany and pine open bookcases, each with moulded cornice over six shelves, and brass studded front over arched apron, the sides extending as legs, 36" x 9.5" x 81" high, (91cm x 24cm x 206cm).
