A Bretby majolica pottery jardiniere or planter, the wavy flared rim moulded with trefoils, over strap handles, foliate apron and simulated agate cabochons on a green glazed lustre ground, indistinctly stamped beneath, 11.25" rim diameter x 9.75" high, (28.5cm x 24.5cm).
