Lot Description

GENEVE - a lady's bracelet watch. Hallmarked Birmingham. Unsigned quartz movement. Champagne dial with gilt baton hour markers. 9ct yellow gold case fitted to an integral 9ct yellow gold chain with ladder clasp. 14mm. Together with a yellow metal Freeson watch head. 22gms.

<li> The quartz movement is currently not functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or may indicate a serious problem with the movement is unknown.

<li> Movement seems to be in good condition.

<li> Dial seems to be in good condition.

<li> Hands appear to show light pitting, visible under a 10x loupe.

<li> Glass appears to have been replaced with plastic, which is lightly scratched.

<li> Case appears to have multiple medium scratches and small areas of tarnishing.

<li> Crown currently shows light scratches and pitting.

<li> Case back seems to display light scratches the majority of which should polish out.

<li> Bracelet appears to show multiple light scuffs, scratches and tarnishing consistent with being worn.

<li> Bracelet does not seem to be stretched.

<li> Clasp currently displays light scratches with an area of tarnishing and discolouration.

<li> Bracelet measures approximately 15.5cm including the case.<p>

<li> The manual wind movement is currently functioning.

<li> Movement appears to display light scratches, dark marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear.

<li> Dial seems to be slightly rubbed to the centure but is generally in good condition.

<li> Hands appear to show light pitting and tarnishing, visible under a 10x loupe.

<li> Glass appears to have been replaced with plastic, which is heavily scratched.

<li> Case appears to have multiple medium scuffs and scratches and small chips.

<li> Crown currently shows medium tarnishing, scratches and pitting.

<li> Case back seems to display scratches and light dents. <p>
