An early 20th century opal and diamond brooch. The oval opal cabochon, within an old-cut diamond surround, with old-cut diamond accents and graduated old-cut diamond sides. Approximate opal dimensions: 36 by 28 by 10.3mms. Estimated total diamond weight 6cts, H-J colour, SI clarity. Length 5.8cms. Weight 29.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Opal displays a predominantly green and blue flashes of colour when turned in the light, it has incurred very minor surface scratches in keeping with age. The diamonds are bright and and lively and well matched.
