An early 20th century 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, to the extended claw setting and plain band. Estimated diamond weight 1ct, I-J colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Weight 5.3gms. With associated case.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and scuffs in keeping with general wear and age. The setting shows evidence or repair. The diamond is bright and lively. Small light and dark inclusions can be seen with the naked eye. There are slight abrasions to some facet edges and nibbles to the edge of the stone. Stamped 18ct. Approximate ring size M.
