Lot Description

A late Victorian gold enamel and cultured pearl brooch. Of foliate design, the green enamel leaves, with cultured pearl cluster detail, to the interwoven surmount. Length 5cms. Weight 12.3gms.

Overall condition fair. The enamel work is damaged on both leaves and in need of repair. The pearls differ in shape and may be later replacements. The brooch has incurred some small knocks and dents. Reverse engraved ' Till Mor frim Fanny o Valdemor 1914/7 11'. Evidence of replacement pin.
