A late 19th century gold ruby and split pearl crescent brooch. The graduated ruby curved line, within a split pearl surround. Some paste replacements. Diameter 3.2cms. Weight 7.3gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Safety chain probable later addition. Discolouration to the mount. Four replacement red paste gems, several further possible replacement rubies. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. The rubies are a moderately well matched medium deep purplish red hue. Minor-moderate abrasion. Split pearls moderately well matched. Some discolouration and slight wear to some.
