A Burmese ruby and diamond floral dress ring. The oval-shape Burmese ruby, measuring 8-9 by 7-8 by 3.8mms, within a brilliant-cut diamond stylised petal surround, to the tapered band. Accompanied by report number 10328, dated 13th August 2014, from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory, stating that the ruby has evidence of heat treatment, with significant residues present in the healed fissures, origin opinion Burma (Mong-Hsu district). Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. French assay marks. Weight 16.5gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Please see report for further details of the ruby. Pinkish-red, medium to dark colour saturation. Large surface reaching healed fissures throughout that somewhat affect the passage of light through the stone. Gemstone in good condition with minor abrasion/nicks. Scattered to large inclusions, some are surface reaching, generally visible under magnification. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion. Ring size P. French assay marks to outer band.
