A 1970s opal brooch. Of foliate design, comprising a series of multi-textured curved bars, with scattered oval opal cabochon accents of various sizes. Maker's marks for August Moon Co. Length 6.4cms. Weight 15.5gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Two opals are chipped. August Moon Co Ltd have been trading in jewellery in Hong Kong since the 1960s. Stamped 14k. One of the chipped opals is loose within its mount. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. The opals are a moderately well matched with moderate play of colour, predominantly green. Minor abrasion.
