An early 19th century gold portrait bracelet. The front designed as an oval-shape miniature portrait, depicting a gentleman, within a scrolling surmount, to the engraved tapered strap. Personal inscription to reverse reading John Tweedale, b.July 14 1770, d.Jan 22 1846 - Alison Tweedale 1847 - Given to Alice B Healey 27th June 1815 by her Godmother Alice Stilling. Length 18.5cms. Weight 72gms. Fitted case stamped Hunt&Roskell.

Inner silk lining to case reads: Hunt&Roskell, Jewellers and Goldsmiths to the Queen and Royal Family, 155 New Bond Street.
Overall condition good, with only minor tarnishing to some of the links and scratch to the reverse of one link. Box has incurred wear in keeping with age.
