An 18ct gold Egyptian Revival gem-set scarab brooch. The replacement green resin scarab, with oval-shape ruby serpent head sides, to the enamel wings highlighted with rose-cut diamonds and circular-shape rubies. Length 5cms. Weight 9.2gms.

Overall condition good to fair in keeping with age and general wear. Discolouration to mount. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Small surface chips to enamel. Scarab loose within the setting. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
