Great War Military Medal Group of four medals comprising Military Medal named to '240381 Sjt. C. Guest. 8/Worc. R.', 1914-15 Star, British War Medal 1914-20, Victory Medal named to '2205 Sjt. C. Guest. Worc. R.' (Star is named to 2205 Pte. C. Guest). Together with Silver War Badge (B295313) and an associated Cap badge(6).
Records show the recipient had two Regimental numbers thought to have changed on promotion to Sergeant.
The roll of individuals entitled to the War Badge records 240381 Sergt. Charles Guest enlisting on the 5.8.14 and being discharged on the 15.2.19 due to wounds, King's Regulations para 392XVI(a), badge number B295313.
Conferment of the Military Medal is listed in the supplement to the London Gazette, 24th January 1919.
