Great War Memorial Plaque named to 'Harold Lawson', with original postage packaging addressed to 'Mrs A. S. Lawson, 22 Belmont Street, Lincoln.',  and conferment letter from Buckingham Palace, together with further correspondence letter from the Air Ministry regarding medal entitlement.


Captain Harold Lawson M.B.E, R.A.F served as 3965 2nd Air Mechanic, Royal Flying Corps. Conferment of The Most Excellent Order Of The British Empire (M.B.E.), honours for war workers awarded to Lieut Harold Lawson,  Officer-Clerk, R.A.F, and was noted in the Flight & The Aircraft Engineer journal, June 20 1918. The London Gazette, 1 January, 1919 records Lieut. (A. Capt.) Harold Lawson, M.B.E. as being promoted to rank of Substantive Captain.
