An early 20th century split pearl and ruby swallow brooch. Designed as two split pearl swallows in flight, with circular ruby cabochon eyes, to the knife-edge bar. One split pearl deficient. Length 4.8cms. Weight 5.5gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. One end of the bar slightly misaligned. Replacement base metal pin. Some possible replacement split pearls. One split pearl deficient. Split pearls fairly well matched, fairly good skins with some surface blemishes. Rubies in good condition with some abrasion.
