A late 19th century gold agate and foil-back garnet necklace. The front designed as an oval moss agate panel, suspended from a series of graduated moss agate panels, with circular-shape garnet spacers, each within a rope-twist surround, to the moss agate push-piece clasp. Length 43cms. Weight 24.3gms. With associated case.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. Moss agates are well matched. Natural inner fractures to some agate panels.
