A mid 20th century 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, with brilliant-cut diamond sides, to the openwork geometric gallery and plain band. Principal diamond weight 2.50cts, estimated I-J colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Weight 5.2gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and small indentations in keeping with general age and wear. The diamond is bright and lively, with nibbles to the girdle and localised small inclusions, just visible without magnification. Estimated total weight of the shoulder diamonds 0.05ct. A replacement half-shank, stamped 18ct. Ring size Q.
