Lot Description
A malachite and gem-set neglegee pendant. Designed as a rectangular-shape malachite plaque, suspending two pear-shape malachite and circular green-yellow gem pendants, to the similarly-set sides and rope-twist neck chain. Length 41cms. Weight 10.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good, light scratches, minor discolouration and dents in keeping with general wear. Stamped Rhodesia gold WHB. Length of pendant 5cms. Malachite with surface abrasion. Setting prevents accurate identification of green gems, lime yellow green colour, well saturated, minimal inclusions, some surface abrasion and chips. Some evidence of solder repair, connecting links weak and may need attention. Rings that connect the pendant to the chain are not closed following wear and as a result the pendant is not securly attached to the rest of the necklace.
