An early 20th century 9ct gold opal and diamond pendant. The oval opal cabochon, suspended from a knife-edge bar, to the old-cut diamond collet surmount and bi-colour fancy-link chain. Length of pendant 4cms. Length of chain 40cms. Weight 3.5gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Barrel clasp stamped 9ct. Chain with small soft sold repair to one link. Most links noticeably squashed/dented. Estimated diamond weight 0.07ct. The diamond is too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades within the mount. Surface reaching inclusions. The opal has whitish semi-opaque inclusions veining through the surface. Significant cavities to the reverse of the opal. Moderate abrasion. Wear to the claws, may require attention.
