Lot Description

An early 20th century 9ct gold turquoise pendant. The oval turquoise cabochon, within a scrolling openwork panel, suspending a circular turquoise cabochon drop, to the tapered surmount. Maker's marks for Henry Matthews. Length 4.3cms. Weight 2.4gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good to fair. Light surface scratches to the front and back in keeping with age. The suspension loop is possibly from another piece of jewellery. A minor split to corner surround. The turquoise well matched with central turquoise showing a minor bruise to the one corner. Please see important notices for purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones.
