A sapphire and diamond novelty brooch. Designed as a tropical bird on a perch, set throughout with vari-size circular-shape sapphire, tapered baguette-cut pink sapphire and vari-cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 2.50cts. Length 7.5cms. Weight 17.1gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches and scuffs in keeping with general wear. Pin likely a base metal replacement. The sapphires vary in tone with fairly light to fairly dark blues with good to fairly good clarity showing typical inclusions. The pink sapphires are a well matched very light pink with good to fairly good clarity. One of the end stone has a portion missing. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Small light and dark inclusions can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
