An Art Nouveau 18ct gold and silver diamond and cultured pearl brooch. The old-cut diamond floral sprig, within a rose-cut diamond scrolling surround, suspending a cultured pearl and diamond point drop. Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 0.20ct. French assay marks. Length 4.5cms. Weight 11.1gms. With associated case.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Light surface scratches in keeping with age. Evidence of minor alterations/repairs. Replacement brooch fitting and pin, pin slightly bent, fittings/pin differ slightly in hue to the rest of the brooch. The principal diamond is bright and lively with minor surface abrasion. Due to the nature of the rose-cut it is not possible to calculate a total rose-cut diamond weight. Estimated total rose-cut diamond spread weight 0.75ct, which is no indication of the actual diamond weight. Individual size/setting prevents accurate colour and clarity grade assessment. The cultured pearl drop shows a creamish body colour with pinkish green overtones. Fairly good skin with some surface blemishes. Fairly good lustre.
