Lot Description

A topaz pendant. The pear-shape topaz, to the bifurcated surmount, with bead detail, suspended from a fancy-link chain. Approximate topaz dimensions 26 by 15 by 6.4mms. Length of pendant 4cms. Length of chain 43cms. Weight 10gms.

Condition Report

Overall lot condition good. Approximate topaz dimensions 26 by 15 by 6.4mms. Estimated topaz 19.4cts. The topaz shows minor surface abrasion, with natural surface reaching inclusions to table and side facets. The topaz displays an orangey yellow hue, deeper colour saturation to point and base of stone. Chain in good working order. Clasp stamped 9ct. Evidence of repair to the chain terminal loops, some discolouration.
