Lot Description

A lapis lazuli dress ring. The oval lapis lazuli cabochon, within a partial collet mount, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Italian assay marks. Weight 11.3gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Stamped 750. Facsimile signature mark, poorly struck, illegible. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. Lapis lazuli untested for natural colour origin. Lapis lazuli is a slightly mottled, deep blue hue with few, small flecks of pyrite. Approximate dimensions of lapis lazuli: 15.5 by 12.1mms, by 7.4mms deep. Lapis lazuli is very slightly loose within its mount. Ring size J 1/2.
