A fine Blue John (Derbyshire Spa) chalice cup or goblet, the rounded bowl with slightly flared rim the tapering stem with four ring knops on domed circular foot, the whole of attractive deep violet hue, 2.75" diameter x 6.5" high (16.5cm x 7cm).

Condition Report
Bowl contains a number of cracks and flaws discernible under strong light. Rim has a small 'flea bite', possibly the top of a flaw. There may be small amounts of professional stabilising/restoration. The stem is of sectional construction. There is a small flake to the uppermost knop of the stem. There are some small flake losses to one joint. Overall lovely colour but with some condition issues.
