A late 19th century gold diamond brooch. The old-cut diamond line, inset to the oval-shape panel, with cannetille surround and scrolling detail. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Length 5.3cms. Weight 7.4gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Localised deeper scratches to the back of the brooch. Diamonds individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Safety chain deficient.
