Lot Description
A cultured pearl seven-row necklace with sapphire and diamond clasp. Comprising seven-rows of cultured pearls, measuring 3.2 to 3.6mms, to the sapphire and diamond interlocking circular-shape clasp. Length 46.5cms. Weight 72.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The pearls vary in colour and shape. The sapphires are a fairly well matched yellow to brownish-yellow, with good to fairly good clarity and good to fair condition with some sapphires showing small chips to facet edges and abrasion. The diamonds are fairly well matched for colour with various brown coloured tinted hues. There are light and dark inclusions easily visible under magnification to most of the diamonds, with some obvious chips, surface reaching fractures and inclusions to some. Stamped 750. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
